Finally the party boat clears the gate and the device has to be manipulated so that things reset for the next load of penicheurs. This is no big deal with aid of shore dwellers, even Queenslanders, but can be kinda daunting if we be all on da boats.
Not much of a party going on - just Alex, Lance and Dino.
We do the rev-and-hoon and then sorta hang out for a very brief moment before tackling the next puppy.
Once again we do the rodeo stuff and Shand gets together a small amount of peniche jumping. This lock stuff is all too easy, much embracing.
The goofy sign means "if you hoon thru here the boat coming the other way that you will hit will bust up into lotsa little pieces". More embracing. The water rises (surprise, surprise) and we finish of this little double lock adventure. We are now running a tad behind schedule as far as refueling the fridge and the larder - the shops close from 12:15 to 3:00pm "for lunch". So Boof and Bruiser grab a bike each off the chill boat and pedal like maniacs to the next town for supplies. Having scored heavily the local bar is consulted for a cleansing bev while the boats catch up.
