Very disappointing Not much mail at all actually. Just
some tax crap. Not even a brochure or something sexually explicit.
Bummed. Well Friday is a low mail day.. |

This is the longest period in recorded history between
credit card offers. I know how Dave feels - It Ain't Oprah 'Til It's
Oprah. |

February. |

At last. No pre-approved limit, but no annual fee and it is
platinum.
Also got some sexually explicit material - lame, though some genitalia.
Thanks Freddie - you are the only one who spells my name that way. |

A $2,000 Platinum Card? Are you joking? And an annual fee!
An extra star for the really official looking sticker on the
envelope. |
| News Flash! The Feds have
shutdown NextBank! National Spam to decrease by 10%. |

No pre-approved limit. What's that all about? You guys
must know me by now! No fee and an optional flag card. Give me
something I can use in Europe. |

the crap Wen! |

What is this? A damned recession or something? |

But I did get a call from Chase wondering how I can spend
money in more than one continent at a time. |

I'm not a real Amex-kinda-guy - except for my trusty
corporate card of course. Fee waived for first year.

Wow $7,500 limit and no fee. A few creepy terms
nevertheless.

However I did receive "convenience checks"
for two different credit cards that I obviously don't use enough. Humour
me please, I have a cheque book or two.

A big bill! I paid it. Even called Westpac but
they claimed no knowledge of a Handiway hold. C'mon, get it together.

But I did get a $500 unsolicited credit-limit increase on
one of my cards. $500? What about $5,000? Chase
tracked down Westpac and cleared the hold, and gave me a $2,000
increase.

Bad month for giving up reckless spending.

Dumb stuff |
A pre-approved cellphone! Give me a break. Plus a nice personalized
booklet with pie-charts and crap showing how I'd used one of my cards. 1)
Restaurants 2) Groceries 3) Refunds of erroneous charges. Now if only I
had such a booklet explaining where my cash went! (Business deals in
parking-lots.)

Did get a cattle dog from Bed, Bath and Bong ... but no charge card
application. What's that all about? I like all three. We are feeling
lonely guys - I'll accept a crap card if it arrives tomorrow.
